Kelly Gilbride

Associate Producer

A graduate from Unitec with a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts (Acting Major) Kelly Gilbride is an award-nominated producer, director and actor. She was the creative producer for Auckland-based company Proudly Asian Theatre, producing theatre productions Call of the Sparrows, the first year of Fresh off the Page and Orientation, as well as the short documentary Asian Men Talk About Sex, made through Loading docs. Kelly also worked as a producer at Pop-up Globe on two Auckland seasons and the first international season in Melbourne.

She produced & directed the short documentary Messages To Your Younger Self, and the music videos Pursuit of Venus, for emerging artist Zoe Alexandra and Wallace Line, for Ha the Unclear, nominated for Best Music Video at the 2018 Show Me Shorts Festival and the theatre production This Is How We’re Gonna Die in association with Youthline.

Kelly has worked as a puppeteer on Custards World (HeiHei) and three seasons of live theatre productions with Whoa Studios. She is currently touring New Zealand schools with the Duffy Foundation.
