Performed by an all-female creative team (with the exception of kickass techno beats from local legend BAYKER), Let It Die is totally unique in the landscape of puppetry shows.
From a mercurial, chaotic world appears the perfect storytellers: a small, lumpy cast of puppets.
They’re cute, petty and sassy - and have no idea how or why they got here.
Trippy visuals. Techno beats. Weird laughs. Mixing Buddhist philosophy, surreal visuals and a teeny splice of hope, Let it Die is validation for anyone living through chaotic times.
Rather Die Productions and PAT present Let It Die - a strange, urgent, and darkly funny puppet show starring three hand-carved puppets.

AUDIENCES SAID:
"Let It Die was an incredibly evocative experience that made me think and feel deeply, through artful performances which not only displayed technical puppetry and theatre craft, but an understanding of what it means to explore the depths of human nature and humanity.’
“This work was so beautifully told and visually stunning!”
“Honestly, there is nothing like it. “Hilarious and beautiful performing and puppetry, and it's just such a soul-filling experience to be in the room was such a gentle and moving piece of theatre!”
“It’s soulful, wholesome and existential. Life in fast-forward and slow-motion.”

“I'm amazed at how much life you can breathe into puppets when you hotbox them in rehearsal rooms with all your personal frustrations and hopes, like a terrarium, and make only subtle movements with their necks and left arms. I feel for them that their god is a writer who isn't scared to express how fed up she is with the way things are. Real and thoughtful, I loved."
