These Terms and Conditions govern engagement with Proudly Asian Theatre, including participation in events, programmes, workshops, and related activities.

  • Participation in Proudly Asian Theatre activities is voluntary.

  • We reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel events where necessary.

  • Participants must provide accurate information when registering or engaging with our programmes.

2. Code of Conduct

Proudly Asian Theatre is committed to creating safe, inclusive, and culturally respectful spaces.

Participants are expected to:

  • Treat all people with respect and care

  • Refrain from discriminatory, abusive, or harmful behaviour

  • Follow instructions from organisers and venue staff

We reserve the right to remove participants whose behaviour compromises the safety or wellbeing of others.

3. Cultural Safety and Respect

Participants acknowledge that Proudly Asian Theatre centres Asian, diaspora, and marginalised voices. Engagement with our work and spaces must uphold principles of cultural respect and care.

4. Intellectual Property and Media

  • Content created by Proudly Asian Theatre remains our intellectual property unless otherwise stated.

  • Events may be photographed, recorded, or documented for promotional, educational, or archival purposes.

  • Participants may request not to be photographed or recorded by notifying organisers.

5. Liability and Risk

  • Participation in activities is at your own risk.

  • Proudly Asian Theatre is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage except where required by law.

6. Changes to Terms

Proudly Asian Theatre reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions as needed. The most current version will apply.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Aotearoa New Zealand.
